It is front-page news.The telly is going breathless over coverage and analyses.And no,it is not about a wall of water that brought death and destruction in its wake.It is the news that beauty queen ,the Miss Perfect Aishwarya Rai and the most eligible bachelor in tinsel town,Abhishek Bachan are seeing each other

The surprise is that mainstream media,which seems more excited than the celebrity duo themselves,have consistently deemed it was worthy of Page 1.Dint we think this was the kind of stuff one read in the gossip magazines at a beauty parlour while waiting for the henna to turn your hair red or for those dainty feet to soak in warm water for an indulgent pedicure?Curse,public memory!Blame it on one English daily that came and spoilt it all.Ever since has turned into a commodity,and has morphed into entertainment,we have people breaking into the Big B's hospital room for an exclusivbe and hanging outside Karishma Kapoor's marriage reception and reading matters or nation import in those attended and those that stayed away.Not to forget the recent Aamir Khan's wedding.....

Well,the bud hasnt blossomed overnight!Its still at its usual worse-self in writing.Above written lines are excerpts from a leading national daily which I used to refer to as a story book untill I attended classes to 'bell the Cat'.
