A director was sitting with his set of actors trying to decide what scenes could be cut off from the play to fit into the time frame.The mood was morose,every scene under discussion was felt important and to be the crux of the play.

Its like having multiple hearts in one body and you cant decide which one to give away.The director was trying to convince the actors that to have a lasting effect on the audience one has to part with some scenes.

Did our leaders who led the freedom struggle have to do something similiar?To gain freedom and at the same time make the british happy did they have to agree for partition and give away something which was also part of the nation.How would it be to put oneself in Mother India's shoes when a branch is being cut from her?Painful I must say..
