Had lunch with a group of people who went on and on about 'How Bangalore sucks',the people are disgusting,the police is careless and the system has gone from worse to worst..
I was a little silent as my mind was filled with thoughts about something else..And also felt that talking to these and trying to bring them to their senses was like sitting and breaking my head infront of a rock..But thinking of it,these are the people who have come here for their jobs,who take off to some tourist place during elections,who dont bother to vote cos most of them are from out of the town and dont have their names listed in the city and obviously wouldnt spend the bucks to go and vote in their cities...Whether the govt performs or not is a secondary question,but atleast you as a citizen should vote and express your opinion to have a say about the governance.Else I feel you have no right to blame something when you havnt exercised your right at the very outset..

Yeah,there have been instances when the whole expression of the citizens have been made fun of,and politicians competing for power...But thats a different story altogether!
